AND SELF DETERMINATION OF PEOPLES
To denounce the worsening condition of human rights in the world: hundreds of millions of people are currently denied fundamental freedoms and Peoples and Minorities are deprived of their right to self determination.
To shake up the Western World with its silence.
To demand the international institutions to make the defense of Human Rights a priority in international relations.
To ask the European Union to take a position about the defense of individual and Peoples’ rights, establishing the European Day for the Freedom of Oppressed Minorities and Peoples.
This year in particular we will be marching
For the freedom of the Burmese, Cambodian, Korean, Haratin, Iranian, Khmer Kampuchean, Kurdish, Laotian, Mongolian, Syrian, Tibetan, Uyghur, Venezuelan and Vietnamese Peoples
To demand the Iranian Government to release Doctor Ahmadreza Djalali, detained in Teheran since April 24th, 2016 and sentenced to death; and the journalist Iraj Jamshidi, who was awarded the International Award for Freedom by Società Libera in 2006
To denounce the action of the Italian Embassy in India, which denied a visa to three Tibetan monks, political refugees, invited by a Buddhist centre in Pomaia in Tuscany.
In Rome, the March will be led by Rebiya Kadeer, the spiritual leader of the Uyghur People.
