Matteo Mecacci is an Italian MP and is the president of the committee on human rights of the parlamentary assembly of the OECD. He started his engagement in support of human rights when he was 16. From to 2001 to 2008 he was responsible for the Transnational Radical Party at the United Nations. During the last 10 years he has participated to many non-government international activities, conferences and rallies on the defense of human rights.

Lydia Labertrandie was elected vice-mayor and worked as an international activitst in her city before creating with a group of persons the Association TIBET 77, with the purpose of helping Tibetan refugees.
